A Team Banked Snowboard Race at Copper Mountain Colorado

Where: Copper Mountain Colorado
For a good cause: This awesome event will fulfill the AAS mission by raising money to support Paralympic hopefuls and create action sports opportunities for youth, young adults, and veterans living with permanent physical disabilities, TBI and/or PTSD.
How it'll go down: This is a kick in the pants banked slalom, single track, rally race with an individual format. This event is open to all ages and abilities! Races will consist of one time trial run followed by two competitive runs. The fastest run of the two will be used for your final time.
After Party: We will have prizes and raffles after awards ceremony followed by Funky Johnson at 5 pm at the Burning Stone Plaza in Copper Mountains Center Village.

Fri Mar. 25th : Noon-5 pm: Athlete Registration at Copper Mountain in Adaptive Action Sports HQ; Copper One Building Suite A1B. We're across from Gravitee Board Shop and adjacent to the rock climbing wall.
Sat March. 26th: 8 am- 9am: Athlete Registration at Copper Mountain in Adaptive Action Sports HQ
9 am: Inspection
11:00 am: Group 1-Open Class (18-35) Men
11:30 am –Group 1- Open Class (18-35) Women
12:00- Group 2-Adaptive Men
12:30 am –Group 2-Adaptive Women
1:00 pm – Group 3-Masters (35+) Men
1:30 pm – Group 3-Master (35+) Women
2:00 pm –Group 4- Groms (12-) Boys/Girls
2:30 pm -Group 5- Youth (12-18) Boys/ Girls
3:30 pm-Awards-Locations TBD
4:00 pm Funky Johnson plays in Center Stone Plaza
5:30 pm- Open house at Adaptive Action Sports (Copper Village)
- Discounted Lift tickets available for those without Copper passes
